Our History:

Kingsway Branch #175 received it's charter in February of 1946 and is known today as 'The HOME of HOSPITALITY'. Our beautiful building is set amidst a landscaped lot with a grassed patio and a paved parking lot accommodating 137 vehicles.

Our members are 'Traditionalists' and celebrate Remembrance and VE Day services by parading down 104th Street and on to Kingsway Ave in front of our own cenotaph located on the front lawn of the branch.

Our Ladies Auxiliary has an active membership of 194 and support many branch projects covering building improvements and equipment acquisitions with large donations obtained from their Bingo's and other fund raising activities.

Our members and LA participate in many of the activities of the Kipnes Veterans Centre and we host a monthly dinner for many of the Centre's residents.

We are extremely sports minded at the Kingsway Legion with 4 Dart Leagues, 2 Shuffleboard Leagues, Crib on Monday, 8 Ball Pool on Tuesday and Thursday as well as Mixed Curling on Sunday Morning's.

Our Seniors Club with a membership of over 200, meet once a month for a social evening and entertainment. They also enjoy frequent group travel outings.
